Message from the Director
Chief Minister’s Model School, Assam Lingzey is not just an institution but a foundation for the future. We are committed to cultivating the leaders of tomorrow. Education today is about creativity, critical thinking, and mastering concepts so that students can present their ideas effectively. Our role as educators is not to teach students what to think, but how to think.
Schools must prepare students for a world that does not yet exist. Studies predict that by 2030, nearly 30% of jobs will be in fields that have not even been created yet. We will prepare students for the unknown by nurturing curiosity, innovation, and a mindset that asks “why” and, more importantly, “why not.”
Beyond academics, our school will shape character, instil values, and develop social responsibility. In our school the students will learn how to interact with their peers, respect authority, and be humble when they are in a position of authority. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or in everyday interactions, they will be prepared not just for examinations but for life itself.
Every child has a unique spark. It is our collective responsibility to recognize, nurture, and ignite it. Our students represent both our greatest challenge and our greatest hope. With the right education and training, they have the potential to transform Sikkim, India, and the world. Our commitment is to ensure that they leave these gates not just as good students, but as good human beings—self-reliant, morally grounded, and ready to take on the world.
